1. Evaluation and RecommendationsMRG conducts short-term assessments to help clients assess proposed projects or improve existing operations. Advice and ActionMRG provides ongoing operational advice to the Charles Hotel, Cambridge, MA. This relationship began in 1993. Our latest assignment: revitalize Henrietta's Table, the hotel's 12 year-old restaurant, with specific emphasis on marketing and PR. Among other successful initiatives, MRG created a series of "baseball cards" featuring local New England farmers, cheese makers, maple syrup producers and fishermen with whom the chef works closely to fashion a farm-direct menu. 3. TrainingWe conduct training and brainstorming sessions for individual restaurant staffs, corporate culinary and beverage teams and corporate managers. Clients include Interstate Hotels, Marriott International, and Neiman Marcus. Representative topics: restaurant concept development, menu and beverage program development and execution, service and sales training, wine knowledge and service. 4. Concept, Design and DevelopmentMRG has extensive, proven experience in properly conceptualizing, programming, designing and opening restaurants and hotel food and beverage departments.
