Join Tribeca Grill's Wine Director David Gordon for a rare opportunity to try world-class wines and meet the people behind them. Owner & Winemaker Chris Figgins (Leonetti, Figgins, Doubleback) and Doubleback Proprietor & former star quarterback Drew Bledsoe are featuring some of their very best selections on Tuesday, January 24th.

Childhood friends Chris Figgins and Drew Bledsoe, both of Walla Walla, Washington, collaborate "from dirt to bottle" at Doubleback. After retiring from the NFL, Drew literally returned to his roots to found Doubleback and Chris became the consulting winemaker. Drew will be joining Chris at Tribeca Grill to present two vintages of Doubleback, as well as the rare Stolen Horse Syrah (only 100 cases produced). Doubleback has already garnered some serious praise with the first two vintages scoring 95 and 94 points in Wine Spectator. Be the first to taste the 2009 Doubleback Cabernet Sauvignon before its official release in February 2012.

Gary and Nancy Figgins founded Leonetti in 1977. Their son Chris, who recently founded Figgins Estate, has been chief winemaker since 2001. For more than 30 years, the Figgins Family has been producing high quality wines at Leonetti Cellar, which was Walla Walla's first bonded winery. What began as a vision to make excellent wine in Walla Walla is now a true American success story. Today, Leonetti Cellar produces some of the most sought after wines in the world. Our dinner will include several older vintages of Leonetti Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Chef Stephen Lewandowski's seasonal five-course dinner is designed to pair with 13 incredible selections, including Figgins Cabernet Sauvignon '08, the Estate's first release.
